Return Policy Summary
EverModernHome.com is able to issue a refund, exchange or provide a store credit should we be notifed within 3 days (72 hours) of your merchandise arriving at the destination address. Please note, the merchandise needs to be returned in the original packaging, unassembled and unused to receive a refund, exchange or store credit. Some venders do not offer a refund option, in this case you will receive a store credit. Should you have any questions regarding the product you are purchasing, please contact us to inquire about the refund policy of that particular item.
Steps to Return a Product
1. Please contact us within 3 days (72 hours) of your merchandise arriving. Please contact us by: emailing email@example.com or by calling 1.800.511.0176 or Online
2. All returned product requires a Return Authorization Number (RAN). Should a product be returned without a RAN, unfortunately, we will not be able to get you a replacement or credit. Please also ensure that it your item is not a final sale item (eg. personal home items). The RAN (return authorization number) may take about 3-7 days to receive. We will email you with your RAN as soon as it is generated. Items sent back without a return authorization will NOT be credited.
3. IMPORTANT: Please write your RAN (number) on the outside of the box, this allows for faster and accurate processing once it is received back to the warehouse.
4. In most cases Ever Modern Home will create shipping labels for the return of the product, but please note: the Buyer is responsible for all shipping associated with an order from Ever Modern Home including, arrival shipping and return shipping.
5. Once the item is received by the warehouse, the credit (less all shipping and restocking fees) will be issued to the purchaser. This entire process can take up to 10-12 days. Thank you for your patience. Please see below under 'Return Credit.'
After 15 days, all sales are final. Unfortunately, Ever Modern Home does not provide refunds/ credits for shipping/ handling charges for returns over 15 days or final sale products. Items returned without a return authorization number, past 15 days, or not in original condition will not be accepted.
Damaged/ Defective PolicyIf merchandise arrives damaged, please indicate this on the shipping paper work upon arrival with the shipping carrier. Should the product be visible damaged please unpack all merchandise and check for damage. Please document any damage with the delivery carrier. Please note, should it not be documented it could result in a damage dispute with the carrier and prevent the product from being returned. Signing the paper work confirms the product is in good condition.
Please indicate any damage at the time of arrival of your item on the paperwork provided by the shipping carrier. Please refuse the shipment if there is obvious damage to the product and package. Very important, please indicate with the shipping carrier should the item be damaged upon arrival even if the damage appears to be minor. Should your item or order arrive damaged or defective, replacements and replacement parts will be shipped. Our policy is to replace damaged or defective products and will not return them. Noting damage upon arrival is imperative. Please contact us within 48 hours of arrival should your package and product be damaged. Should a product arrive damaged please email us at contactus (at) evermodernhome.com with photos documenting the damage and to obtain a replacement.
The following items are not returnable/exchangeable under any circumstances, NO RETURNS or EXCHANGES. These include: any custom product or otherwise indicated product. For example, any of the "Personal Home" sub-category items.
Credits to credit cards and store credits will be processed as soon as the product has arrived back at the warehouse. It may take up to 10 days you see your refund once the product ships. Thank you for your patience in advance. We will do our best to expedite this process to ensure customer satisfaction.
Canceled or Modified Orders
Canceled or modified orders must be done as soon as possible, within 12 hours. Please call 1.800.511.0176 immediately or email your request with an URGENT subject line. We will do everything we can to assist you. If the order has been shipped we will not be able to cancel or modify the order, it would then be the customer's responsibility to send the package back and the original return/ exchange policy will be applied. Orders ship within 12-24 hours of being ordered.
Attempted/ Missed Delivery
Please note: in the case of an attempted/ missed delivery due to absense of buyer to accept shipment, or wrong address provided to Ever Modern Home (fees may apply for attempted deliveries). The Buyer is responsible for contacting the carrier and/or Ever Modern Home to attempt delivery again. Should there be no contact the item will be shipped back after 5 days. Regular shipping fees and restocking fees will apply.
